Van Persie is Candidates to Replace Tevez
MANCHESTER – Manchester City seemed ready to lose Carlos Tevez. Evidently, the name of the attacker Robin van Persie sticking to the surface. Roberto Mancini judge the Arsenal striker is fit to change the position of Tevez.
As reported previously, the future of Tevez with City was threatened. The reason, Argentina’s national team striker, throw tantrums by refusing to play at the Citizens when defeated by Bayern Munich 0-2 in the Champions League.
Mancini was furious with Tevez behavior. The Italian coach ensure Tevez’s career with the City is over. In fact, club management, based on the Etihad Stadium had been suspended Tevez. Mancini immediately find a replacement for former of Manchester United striker.
Reported by Guardian.co.uk on Friday (9/30/2011), Mancini set up Van Persie to replace Tevez. However, opportunities City itself to bring the Dutch striker was quite open.
The reason, Van Persie still hasn’t decided to renew his contract with Arsenal. The Gunners captain apparently still disappointed, with sold two midfielders Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri.
If the City managed to pick up Van Persie, then the attacker’s 28 years follow a number of former colleagues. They are Emmanuel Adebayor, Kolo Toure, Gael Clichy and the last Nasri, who cross into the Manchester Blue.
